Senior ESG Controller

About the job

ESG & Sustainability, including CSRD reporting, is a continuously evolving area, and you will contribute to developing and integrating these activities across the group.

Key responsibilities for this role:

• Prepare consolidated ESG sections for TDC group’s annual reports
• Prepare accurate audit materials, including contact with our auditors
• Support double materiality analysis and value- and supply-chain due diligence for the group
• Orchestrate data consolidation across subsidiaries and holding company
• Prepare and update guidelines and ESRS assurance alignment for the group
• Serve as a knowledgeable advisor on ESG data and sustainability legislation
• Collaborate closely with relevant functions to improve ESG data collection and handling
• Support the preparation of internal ESG reporting materials to senior management and board

About you

As a person, you are motivated by ESG reporting and by contributing to positive outcomes. You are a motivated team member who can take responsibility for driving initiatives forward and developing the agenda.

Furthermore, you have the following background and experience:

• Relevant master’s degree, such as Accounting, Finance, or an equivalent qualification
• Professional experience in the ESG and sustainability area from large companies or audit or consulting firms
• Solid strategic toolbox and business understanding, including the ability to handle large quantitative datasets and qualitative information
• Effective people and stakeholder engagement skills
• You produce high-quality results and can combine attention to detail with a holistic overview
• Advanced communication skills (both verbal and written), including the ability to transform complex information into a simple, understandable message
• You undertake your role with assurance and as part of a team, acting as a knowledgeable and informed advisor to various stakeholders
• Knowledge of and experience with CSRD, including, for example, ESRS, Double Materiality Assessments and EU Taxonomy
• Experience using automation and AI tools to improve ways of working, or a keen interest in developing these capabilities
