Technical Product Specialist

&Tradition is looking for a Technical Product Specialist to join our Product Development team, reporting to the Product Development Manager.

About the Role

You will maintain and improve the technical foundation of both our existing collection and new product developments. Your focus is ensuring that drawings, BOMs, and product documentation are accurate, up to date, and aligned with current requirements. You will play a key role in implementing technical changes across the collection and supporting development projects through structured documentation and supplier follow-up.

This is a specialist support function and does not involve responsibility for product development or design decisions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update technical drawings and BOM lists across existing products and ongoing development projects
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation throughout the development process
• Implement technical changes and updates across the collection in response to new requirements (compliance, materials, suppliers, etc.)
• Create and maintain product documentation: instruction manuals, disassembly manuals, and technical descriptions
• Support compliance and documentation processes, ensuring products meet relevant standards
• Follow up with suppliers to collect, validate, and align technical documentation and product data
• Ensure consistency and accuracy across drawings, specifications, and documentation
• Support Product Developers with ongoing operational and technical tasks

About You

• Background in Technical Design, Production Technology, or similar
• Strong experience with CAD and technical drawings (SolidWorks or similar)
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and InDesign
• Experience working with BOM structures and product data
• Understanding of production, materials, and technical documentation
• Structured, detail-oriented, and persistent in follow-up
• Comfortable with repetitive and process-driven tasks
• Strong coordination skills when working with suppliers and internal stakeholders
• Motivated by supporting and maintaining products rather than leading development
