Compliance Engineer

Are you a structured engineer with a passion for compliance, testing, and certification?

If so, this is your opportunity to join our Test and Compliance department.

About the Role

As a Compliance Engineer, you will play a key role in our product development process, ensuring that products meet relevant standards and regulatory requirements. You will join a small, skilled team consisting today of 3 compliance and test engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare compliance matrices based on product specifications
• Do test management and test time estimation
• Perform and document compliance testing
• Act as compliance responsible in development projects
• Coordinate with and maintain contact to third-party certification bodies (e.g., Intertek, UL, VDE)
• Coordinate production test setup in collaboration with PTA
• Support R&D engineers on compliance-related topics
• Participate in design reviews and FMEA activities

Qualifications

• Engineering degree (electrical, electronics, or similar)
• Experience with standards regarding EMC, LVD, UL etc. within power electronics, especially motor drives
• Knowledge of the US market in relation to certification is an advantage
• Strong analytical skills with ability to extract key insights from data
• Excellent documentation skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities and root cause analysis mindset
• Ability to multitask and manage shifting priorities
• A strong team player
• Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills in English
