Domain Architect

As our Domain Architect, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the enterprise architecture framework that aligns our overall organizational goals for the whole GN Group on a global level with our Digital, Data and IT (DDI) strategy. Your responsibilities include partnering with various department stakeholders to confirm that our technology investments contribute to enduring growth and flexibility.

You will operate across the strategic, tactical, and operational levels, moving seamlessly between shaping long-term direction and driving day-to-day execution. Focused on technology platforms and initiatives supporting GN’s global commercial activities, you will work in the “sweet spot” between business and IT—bridging strategy, governance, and execution to help GN design for the future while delivering in the present.

The team you will be part of:

At our global HQ, located in Ballerup, Denmark, you will join our Enterprise Architecture team and report directly to the Director, Troels Christensen. As a core member of the Enterprise Architecture group, you will have a compelling voice in shaping architectural direction and decisions. You will serve as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders while also guiding delivery teams, ensuring that architecture is both visionary and practical.

Your contribution is appreciated, and you will:

• Own GN’s enterprise architecture vision and principles, translating corporate and commercial strategy into IT capability roadmaps.
• Identify and manage opportunities for innovation, standardization, and simplification.
• Provide architectural leadership and alignment across commercial platforms (CRM, customer engagement, e‑commerce, partner portals, data) and support global customer-facing initiatives.
• Offer architectural oversight and governance for major IT programs—ensuring solutions meet enterprise standards, align with long-term strategy, and operate within clear guardrails.
• Support project teams with actionable architecture deliverables, manage structured problem-solving, and step into operational detail to ensure continuity from vision to execution.

To thrive in the role, we imagine you have:

• A master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Management, or a related field.
• Seven years’ experience in Enterprise or Solution Architecture within global organizations.
• Strong understanding of business processes and IT landscapes, especially in commercial areas.
• Ability to operate effectively at both strategic (C-level) and operational (project delivery) levels.
• Broad knowledge of enterprise platforms, data management, integration, and cloud solutions.
• Proven problem-solving and analytical skills, able to structure complex issues into actionable solutions.
• Clear communicator who translates technical concepts into business language.
• Skilled influencer and negotiator, aligning diverse stakeholders and building consensus.
• Collaborative partner across business and IT functions.
• Adaptable, able to move fluidly between strategic, tactical, and operational contexts to drive results and continuous improvement.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
