We are looking for a Digital Field Service Specialist for our Tech. Service team who will be responsible for delivering swift, high-quality support to XO Certified Partners and selected end-customers—online and on-site. You will also be responsible for training partner technicians, maintaining technical documentation and training materials, and ensuring that our service processes and supporting systems (e.g., CRM and SharePoint) are up-to-date and maintained.
Responsibilities
1) Digital/online technical support and case handling
- Provide first level technical support to XO Certified Partners across all XO CARE products (especially XO FLOW).
- Answer technical questions, register customer complaints, handle complaints and follow up—including corrective actions—in a structured and timely way.
- Ensure all interactions and resolutions are documented accurately in CRM.
2) On-site support for XO Certified Partners and end-customers
- Perform troubleshooting, repairs and complex installation/commissioning tasks on-site.
- Prepare and maintain clear visit, installation and service reports.
- Willing to travel across Europe.
3) Technical training for partner technicians
- Plan, deliver and document technical training so partner technicians can perform service and repairs on XO CARE products.
- Train partner technicians to ensure optimal network and software setup to fully utilise XO FLOW.
4) Technical documentation and continuous improvement
- Prepare and maintain service, retrofitting and repair instructions as well as practical training materials (guides, slide decks, videos, etc.).
- Feed field insights back to R&D/Service and propose further product and process improvements.
5) Data, systems and events
- Collect, structure and maintain technician data at distributors; register internal error reports and keep technician records up to date in CRM.
- Maintain a logical document structure in SharePoint and ensure information is current and accessible.
- Participate in exhibitions and sales activities as needed, in collaboration with Service, Sales and Marketing.
Qualifications
We are looking for a friendly and approachable person who can handle many tasks at once and is highly detailoriented, with the following traits:
- Persistent, structured and extremely well organised.
- Strong eye for detail without losing the overview in intense situations.
- Technical flair across software, hardware and electronics; experienced with CRM, BI/reporting, Excel, and familiarity with ERP is a plus.
- Processoriented and disciplined in documentation and followup.
- Understands commercial processes and distribution networks and enjoys collaborating with partners.
- Fluent in English in writing and speaking; French and/or German is a plus.
- After onboarding, works independently with assigned tasks and proactively improves the work area.
- Education within relevant technical areas preferred; experience in the medical technology industry is a plus.
