Would you like to help Sclerose.info with foundations, pools and fundraising?

Jobbeskrivelse
Would you like to help Sclerose.info with foundations, pools and fundraising?
Sclerose.info has many ideas and projects that we would like to bring to life.
But good ideas also require financing.
Therefore, we are looking for a volunteer who wants to help us work more systematically with Danish foundations, pools, grants and project financing.
You don't have to be a professional fundraiser.
Maybe you already have experience with funding applications. Maybe you work or study project management, communication, social sciences, economics, administration or NGO work and want to learn more about funding.
The most important thing is that you can research, create an overview, write well and have a desire to understand both our projects and the funds we are applying to.
What will you be working on?
The tasks may include:
- Find relevant Danish foundations, pools and grants
- Investigate what the individual foundations support
- Assess which of our projects are suitable for which funds
- Keep an overview of application deadlines and requirements
- Build and maintain a funding pipeline
- Research on previous grants and the foundations' priorities
- Assist with project descriptions and funding applications
- Gather the documentation and information needed for applications
- Work with project managers on goals, activities, results and budgets
- Follow up on submitted applications and new opportunities
- Help us become more structured and long-term in our fundraising
We want to avoid fund work only happening when we suddenly discover a deadline.
The goal is to build a system where we know:
What projects do we have?
Which funds are suitable for them?
When can we apply?
What do we need before the project is complete?
And who follows up?
What projects are we working on?
Sclerose.info works with different aspects of life with multiple sclerosis.
These may include projects around:
- Pregnancy, family and sclerosis
- Men with multiple sclerosis and our project Male Voices
- Cognition and invisible symptoms
- Patients' experience of treatment in different ways
- Working life and everyday life
- Research and dissemination
- And more....
This also means that the foundation's work is not just about finding money.
It's about understanding a project well enough to be able to explain why it's necessary, who it's going to help, and what difference it can make.
Who are you?
You don't need to have one specific education.
Maybe you study or work in:
- Fundraising
- Communication
- Project management
- Social sciences
- Administration
- Business or economics
- NGO work
- Research
The most important thing is that you:
- Is good at research
- Can create structure and overview
- Writes clearly and precisely in Danish
- Can work independently
- Follows agreements and deadlines to the letter
- Is thorough
- Are you curious about foundations and project financing?
- Want to understand the projects you are seeking funding for?
Experience with fund applications is an advantage - but not a requirement.
If you have experience, we would of course be happy to use it.
If you don't have one, but have the right skills and the desire to learn, we would also love to hear from you.
You won't be alone.
You will work together with our chairman, project staff and other volunteers.
We are currently building a more professional and systematic funding structure around Sclerose.info.
There will therefore be an opportunity to work on specific applications and to help build the very way we work with foundations.
For the right person, the role can develop over time, giving you responsibility for specific funds, projects or areas.
