Driver wanted for the soup kitchen

Every week, Madkassen volunteers drive out to pick up surplus food at local supermarkets that have been contracted with. The volunteers organize the goods and distribute food in both Humlebæk and Nivå at set times.

The food items are primarily fruit and vegetables, bread and groceries, but the amount of surplus goods and which items are available vary from week to week.

The lunchbox is missing drivers who:

• Have a car
• Are you fresh in the morning?
• Have an hour and a half once a week or once every 14 days.

There are many options for getting shifts. Several per week, one per week, every other week, etc. You can either drive out from Madkassen Humlebæk (Monday and Wednesday) or Madkassen Nivå (Tuesday and Thursday).

At Madkassen you become part of a wonderful volunteer community and can experience that you, together with others, make a difference for nature and your fellow human beings.
