Global Partner Programs Manager – Global Channel

Be the key to driving commercial growth through Milestone’s distribution and channel partners!

The Global Partner Programs Manager is responsible for designing, governing, and continuously improving Milestone's global partner programs across both distribution and channel partners. Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Global Channel Sales, this role ensures the operational framework, policies, tools, and programs enable partners worldwide to successfully grow the business.

This role leads the global Partner Programs team responsible for administering partner programs, maintaining operational excellence, and driving consistent execution across regions. Working closely with regional sales leadership, marketing, finance, operations, and enablement, the Global Partner Programs Manager ensures partner programs remain scalable, efficient, and aligned with Milestone's commercial strategy.

Success in this role is measured by the effectiveness, adoption, and continuous improvement of Milestone's global partner ecosystem.

Responsibilities:

  • Global Partner Program Strategy & Governance: Develop, maintain, and continuously improve Milestone's global partner programs across distributors, system integrators, resellers, and other strategic partner types.
  • Define partner program structures, partner tiers, benefits, incentives, business rules, governance, and operational standards.
  • Balance global consistency with regional flexibility to support local market needs.
  • Regularly evaluate program effectiveness and recommend improvements that strengthen partner engagement and business performance.
  • Partner Program Management: Own the lifecycle of global partner programs from design through implementation and ongoing optimization.
  • Manage annual program updates, partner requirements, program documentation, communications, and operational processes.
  • Ensure partner programs remain aligned with Milestone's commercial strategy, product portfolio, and business priorities.
  • Partner with regional sales organizations to gather feedback and continuously improve partner programs.
  • Global Partner Operations: Lead the global Partner Programs team responsible for day-to-day administration of partner programs.
  • Oversee partner onboarding, program enrollment, certifications, partner tiers, rebates, incentives, Market Development Funds (MDF), compliance, and partner program administration.
  • Establish scalable operational processes that improve efficiency and enhance the overall partner experience.
  • Drive continuous improvement across partner systems, workflows, and service delivery.
  • Performance & Business Insights: Define and monitor key performance indicators that measure partner engagement, program adoption, operational effectiveness, and business impact.
  • Analyze program performance and identify opportunities to improve partner productivity and operational efficiency.
  • Present recommendations and business reviews to senior leadership based on program performance and market feedback.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Finance, Global Sales Operations, and IT to successfully execute channel initiatives.
  • Ensure partner programs support product launches, commercial initiatives, pricing strategies, and business transformation efforts.
  • Act as the operational leader for global partner program execution across the organization.

Professional Qualifications:

Experience:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in channel management, partner programs, channel or commercial operations within the software of technology industry.
  • Experience designing, implementing and managing global partner programs within a technology organization.
  • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional initiatives with multiple stakeholders and regions.
  • Strong analytical and business acumen with experience using data to drive program improvements and business decisions.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
  • Proven experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
  • Strong project management, organizational, and change management capabilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
