Head of In-House Manufacturing
Jobbeskrivelse
Your contribution is appreciated
We are in pursuit of a operational manufacturing manager who can translate product and industrialization requirements into robust processes, stable output and continuous improvement. You will be instrumental in building a flexible, high‑mix/low‑volume production environment that supports FalCom’s growth and scalability.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Building and managing the In‑House Manufacturing function – setting direction, defining roles and responsibilities and developing a high‑performing team
- Day‑to‑day management of production activities – planning, prioritization and execution of prototyping, first builds, small cable and plastic production, rework and product modifications
- Production performance and stability – safety, delivery reliability, productivity, quality, scrap and rework levels, and adherence to standards and SOPs
- Manufacturing processes and equipment – ensuring robust assembly, molding and test processes, proper maintenance and calibration of tools and fixtures, and readiness for new products
- Collaboration with Industrialization and R&D – supporting design‑for‑manufacturing, pilot builds, Engineering Validation Tests and seamless hand‑over from development to volume production (internal or external)
- Compliance and documentation – ensuring that work instructions, routings, test procedures and production records are up‑to‑date, auditable and aligned with GN/FalCom quality requirements
- Continuous improvement – identifying and driving improvements in safety, flow, lead time, yield and cost, using data and structured problem‑solving methods
- Capacity and capability planning – matching resources, skills, tools and layout to current and future demand, including support for urgent customer needs and special builds
To thrive in the role, we imagine that you:
- Have a relevant technical education (e.g. Production/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Technology or similar)
- Bring solid experience from a production/manufacturing environment, preferably within electronics, cables, plastics or other technology‑intensive products
- Have proven leadership experience from managing operators, technicians or similar profiles in a workshop or factory setting
- Are comfortable working in a high‑mix, low‑volume and build‑to‑order environment, balancing structure with flexibility
- Understand manufacturing processes and methods such as assembly, soldering, cable production, injection molding, testing and rework
- Are familiar with production planning and ERP systems (experience with Microsoft D365 or similar is an advantage)
- Work in a data‑driven way, using KPIs and facts to secure performance and drive improvement
- Communicate clearly in English and Danish
We encourage you to apply
Even if you don’t match all the above‑mentioned skills, we welcome your application if you believe you have relevant and transferrable experience. We highly value a mindset and motivation that align with our core values, to not only ensure growth for you, but for your team and the wider GN organization as well.
