Overview
Do you want to help shape the growth of some of Norway and Iceland’s most loved soft drink brands, like Pepsi Max, 7UP and Gatorade? We are now looking for a dynamic Commercial Activation Manager to help bring our commercial plans into action.
This role sits at the heart of PepsiCo’s Norway & Iceland beverage business, turning big brand plans into brilliant local activation together with bottler partners, agencies and internal commercial and marketing teams. The Commercial Activation Manager will drive the BTL agenda, lead key local projects across brand and channel, and help deliver the business targets behind brands that show up every day in Norwegian and Icelandic culture — from store shelves to events, campaigns and moments of consumption.
Responsibilities
- Help shape the commercial plan for Norway & Iceland by supporting the Franchise Manager on the Annual Operating Plan and longer-term strategic agenda.
- Bring global and Nordic brand platforms to life locally by coordinating ATL asset adaptation with the Nordic marketing team.
- Build a locally relevant BTL agenda with the bottler, ensuring ATL and BTL work together as one joined-up growth plan.
- Lead and support high-impact activations across events, sponsorships and ambassadors, including festivals and UEFA Champions League-led local campaigns.
- Manage assigned project and marketing budgets, including PO creation, accruals, invoice follow-up and budget tracking in line with internal principles.
- Drive commercial projects through the internal stage gate process and support execution from idea to in-market delivery.
- Identify and share best practices on strategic growth opportunities such as on-premise and e-commerce across the BU and with bottlers where relevant.
- Turn market data into action through regular and ad-hoc performance tracking using Nielsen, Tilbudsdata and BMS.
- Act as a daily collaboration partner for the bottler’s brand teams, helping secure strong alignment and fast execution.
- Contribute to monthly and quarterly bottler meetings and internal Periodic Business Reviews with clear updates, insights and actions.
Qualifications
Professional experience/skills:
- Have minimum 3 years FMCG experience, preferably within a top 5 player with branded products
- Marketing & Sales capabilities
- Analytical skills – ability to analyze complex situations
- Good presentation and communication skills
- Experience in Nielsen/Gfk retail/consumer tracking
- Fluency in English
- Excellent time and project management skills
- Knowledge of Norway retail environment is an advantage
