About the role

In the role as Agile Release & Change Manager, you will play a central role in ensuring development and Daily operation of application change management, Release Management and supervise agile delivery in scrum teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Application Change Management
    • Oversee the lifecycle of application changes from request through implementation.
    • Maintain change records and ensure compliance with internal governance and audit requirements. Support IT audit process.
    • Continuously improve change processes
    • Plan and orchestrate Area CAB and Global CAB.
  • Release Management
    • Plan and coordinate application releases across environments and teams.
    • Ensure release packages are validated, tested, and deployed according to schedule.
    • Manage release calendars and communicate timelines and impacts to stakeholders.
    • Continuously improve release processes and automation practices.
  • Agile Supervision
    • Support agile teams in delivering high-quality software through iterative development.
    • Facilitate agile ceremonies and ensure teams follow agile best practices.
    • Promote continuous improvement and agile maturity across delivery teams.
    • Act as a mentor and coach to Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and team members.

Who are you?

You’re a strong communicator who enjoys working with many stakeholders — across teams, levels, and borders. In our international setup, you’ll collaborate with colleagues, consultants, and suppliers, so solid English skills are a must. Danish language skills are beneficial.

You have an IT-related background and a structured, solution-oriented mindset. You stay focused when details matter yet act quickly when decisions are needed.

You thrive in a dynamic environment where change is part of everyday life — and you’re not afraid to challenge the status quo when something can be done smarter.

Key Competencies:

  • Change Control Expertise: Strong understanding of ITIL or similar frameworks for managing application changes.
  • Release Coordination: Experience managing software releases in complex environments.
  • Agile Leadership: Deep knowledge of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).
  • Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication and coordination skills across technical and business domains.
  • Process Orientation: Ability to design, document, and improve delivery processes.

Additionally, it is an advantage if you have experience with:

  • 4-5+ years in application change management, release management, or agile delivery roles.
  • Experience with critical enterprise applications and environments, preferably SAP (e.g., ERP, Relex, Stibo etc.).
  • Familiarity with tools such as Jira, ServiceNow, Azure DevOps, Git, or similar.
  • Certifications such as ITIL, Scrum Master (CSM/PSM), SAFe, or Release Management are a plus.
  • Experience working in hybrid cloud/on-prem environments is beneficial.
