Are you passionate about advancing proteomics and skilled at driving scientific projects from idea to execution? We're seeking a Scientist to join our R&D team in Odense. This is a 1-year maternity cover position with the potential to transition into a permanent role.

What we do

Evosep aims to improve quality of life and patient care by radically innovating protein based clinical diagnostics. Making sample preparation and separation before MS analysis 10 times faster and 100 times more robust will enable truly large cohort studies for biomarker validation and provide the foundation for precision medicine.

Key tasks and responsibilities

Scientific execution

• Develop and apply high-throughput proteomics workflows (sample preparation and LC‑MS)
• Ensure high-quality, reproducible data generation to support product development
• Evaluate experimental design and interpret complex datasets
• Stay current on emerging technologies and methodologies

Project management

• Drive end-to-end project execution from scope to delivery, ensuring timelines and milestones are met
• Define project scope, goals, and success criteria in alignment with stakeholders
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across R&D, Applications, and Commercial
• Translate scientific insights and market input into actionable project plans
• Identify risks, track progress, and ensure transparent communication to stakeholders
• Contribute to structured documentation and traceability (e.g. requirements, plans, deliverables) in line with internal processes

Qualifications

Our team is diverse, but a positive can-do attitude and the desire to be part of something bigger than yourself are common characteristics for the entire team. To be successful in this role, you should also ideally bring:

• An M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Analytical Sciences, Biochemistry or related fields.
• Hands-on experience developing and executing high-throughput proteomics workflows, including sample preparation, LC-MS/MS analysis, and data quality control in a research or product development environment.
• Strong data analysis and scientific problem-solving skills, with the ability to critically evaluate data and consider experimental design.
• Proven project management experience, including planning, prioritization, risk management, and successful delivery of cross-functional projects on time and within scope.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience collaborating across R&D, commercial, applications, and other multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience working in a structured development environment, including documentation, requirements, traceability, and adherence to quality processes and best practices.
