DevOps Engineer
Jobbeskrivelse
Self-driven, ambitious, and knowledge-hungry dev-ops engineer fueled by a passion for automation and infrastructure.
Do you feel at home in a Linux-based environment and can bash with the best of them? Do you feel the urge to automate every repetitive task you encounter, and is your home lab considered a service provider? If so, keep reading.
We are looking for an extra dev-ops engineer to join our dev-ops team, so if containers, pipelines, and infrastructure as code sound is your jam, this could be the perfect job opportunity for you!
Adversus' ambitions are high, our organisation is flat, and we always strive to learn and have fun while doing it.
Who we are
Founded in a garage in 2016 and now headquartered in the heart of Aarhus, Adversus is a fast-growing SaaS company with a talented team of +50 colleagues. We’ve established ourselves as a leading provider of cloud-based call center software, serving customers in more than 35 countries across the globe. We build smart, scalable solutions—and we always seek new ways to work smarter, not harder.
What will you be working with?
Your primary responsibilities will be configuration, monitoring and maintenance of machines and services. You will be using tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Grafana, Prometheus and Docker extensively. The bulk of our platform is hosted on physical servers so you need to be familiar with working outside the AWS console.
You will share the responsibility of day-to-day operations like
- Facilitate observability with Grafana, Prometheus, and Loki.
- Automate workflows using CI/CD pipelines and ansible
- Enhance security by hardening Linux servers
- Improve reliability with managing Docker containers, and proactive monitoring
- Support the team by building internal tools in Python/Go and occasionally handling ad-hoc IT tasks
Here is how we imagine you
- You should have a few years experience working with dev-ops - enough to be comfortable owning tasks independently
- You should have a solid understanding of networks from layer 4 and up, and the ability to configure and debug services using standard linux utils and the editor of your choice.
It is a plus if you have some experience with one or more of the following subjects
- Infrastructure as code: Terraform, Ansible.
- Container technologies: Docker, Kubernetes.
- Observability and monitoring: Grafana, Prometheus, Loki.
- Backend services: MySQL, Redis, Rabbitmq, Elastic search.
This is what Adversus can offer you
We offer you a full-time job with an attractive and competitive salary package to match your qualifications and experience. We have a very nice office in the middle of Aarhus, so we expect that you will be willing to spend most of the week there, but if working from home every now and then is needed, we’re pretty flexible on that one. We have a catered lunch, and plenty of social events to let your hair down, like Friday bars, out-of-office gatherings, and summer parties.
If this sounds like your next adventure, we’d love to hear from you. Let’s have a chat about how you can grow with us at Adversus.
