Process Technician – Carcass Production
About the Role
We are seeking skilled Process Technicians (Setup Technicians) to join our Carcass production team at NOV’s manufacturing facility in Kalundborg, Denmark. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring correct and efficient setup of Carcass machines in accordance with approved processes and work instructions. You will work closely with both production and technical teams to maintain optimal equipment performance and implement best practices that ensure stability, quality, and safety in our production operations. This position is part of a 12-hour rotating shift schedule (5-shift plan). You will begin on a day shift for thorough training before moving into regular shift work. Our shift plan provides an excellent work-life balance — working 14 days in a 35-day cycle.

Key Responsibilities
- Set up Carcass machines and related equipment according to defined parameters.
- Ensure that setups comply with established processes and instructions.
- Support and guide operators to maintain stable processes and best practices.
- Participate in operator training, ensuring consistent work methods and implementation of new practices.
- Maintain a high standard of quality and safety in daily operations.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts and provide feedback to process owners.
- When there is no setup or tasks related to this, you will participate in production on an equal footing with the operator.
Qualifications & Skills
Essential Qualifications
- Technical background (e.g. mechanic, blacksmith, industrial technician, or similar).
- Ability to read and understand technical instructions in both Danish and English.
- Structured, reliable, and quality-conscious approach to work.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Open to learning and willing to share knowledge with colleagues.
- Flexible and ready to assist during vacations or absences.
- Fluency in English.
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in production or manufacturing environments.
- Familiarity with industrial machinery setup and maintenance.
- Understanding of continuous improvement and lean principles.
- Fluency in Danish.
