We are currently looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to support regional operations within the Nordics energy sector.
Practical info: Can be done primarily remote from Denmark or Sweden, but travelling onsite now and then is required
QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES
- 4+ years of experience in finance roles (FP&A, controlling, or business partnering)
- Proven experience with budgeting, forecasting, and performance management cycles
- Strong business partnering experience with operational stakeholders
- Solid understanding of financial KPIs, cost structures, and profitability drivers
- Experience with SAP (financial modules) and Power BI
- Strong analytical skills: ability to translate data into insights and recommendations
- Hands-on experience with month-end closing processes
- Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills
- NICE-TO-HAVE:
- Experience from energy or renewables sector
- Exposure to supplier contracts / commercial finance
- Experience with financial master data and reporting structures
AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY
- Deliver financial analysis, reporting, and actionable insights to support operational and tactical decisions
- Drive budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes aligned with strategic priorities
- Execute and support month-end and year-end closing activities, including cost control
- Partner with regional stakeholders to optimize financial performance and decision-making
- Build and maintain financial models, KPIs, and performance tracking frameworks
- Support business case development and evaluate financial viability of initiatives
- Contribute to supplier contract evaluations and commercial decision support
- Manage and maintain financial master data and reporting structures
- Identify risks/opportunities and provide concrete financial recommendations
- Collaborate with Record-to-Report (R2R) and audit-related processes
- Develop and improve Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions
- Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and reporting quality
