Do you want to create adventure, community and joy of nature for girls aged 7-9

We are looking for new volunteers for our green girl scout group for girls aged 7-9. Every Wednesday we meet for scouting, where we explore nature, make a campfire, go on little adventures, play, be creative and learn new skills through community and cooperation.

As a volunteer, you will be part of a committed leadership team that plans and implements the activities together. You do not need to have experience with scouting. The most important thing is that you want to be with children and contribute to a safe and fun community.

Tasks

• Plan activities together with the other leaders
• Hold weekly scout meetings
• Create a safe and inclusive community
• Support girls in trying new things and developing themselves

Time consumption

Scout meetings are held every Wednesday from 5:15 p.m. to 6:45 p.m.

As a leader, you should expect to arrive approximately 30 minutes before for preparation and stay approximately 30 minutes after for cleanup and a short evaluation. The total time spent on meeting evenings is therefore typically from 4:45 PM to 7:15 PM.

In addition, the leaders participate in joint planning as needed, as well as individual trips and events throughout the year.

We hope that you:

• Want to work with children
• Can participate regularly on Wednesdays
• Is responsible and collaborative
• Want to be part of a volunteer community

You get:

• A strong community with other volunteers
• Leadership experience and opportunity for courses
• Lots of experiences in nature
• Happy children, laughter and bonfire smoke
• The opportunity to make a real difference in the girls' everyday lives

You don't need to be able to tie a Scout knot or light a fire from day one. We'll help you get started and make sure you're never alone with the task.

Would you like to join us? Then contact us. We look forward to hearing from you.
