The role
As part of a management team comprising six Project Managers, you will be responsible for a specialist team of 13 Domain Advisors, a Visual UI Designer and a number of Architects.
You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to define the scope of product release deliveries following a structured gate process. Your responsibilities include driving and managing the gate until completion, overseeing team deliveries, planning and governance. Additionally, you will coordinate and drive cross-team initiatives at programme level.
Your primary day-to-day tasks:
- Support and participate in planning activities
- Follow up on plans and the completion of short and long-term goals
- Measure the performance and status of plans
- Risk management
- Follow up on and handle impediments in your team’s work
- Status reporting
- Coordinating and securing communication between teams and other stakeholders
- People management of highly skilled colleagues, ensuring their continual development
Your profile
You have a relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree and experience from the IT industry. Your project management qualifications are comparable to PMI/PMP, PRINCE2 or similar.
You have a proven track record of more than five years of project management within complex software development companies. You have excellent leadership skills, take a hands-on approach and lead by example.
You are fluent in English and Danish and thrive in an international working environment. Experience with subcontractor management, technical project management and/or delivery management is a plus.
In addition, you are characterised by the following:
- Possess strong qualifications in project management through KPIs, management briefings, chairing of business committee meetings etc.
- Experienced with personnel management and developing highly skilled technical colleagues to become high performers through relations-based leadership
- Can take part in our experienced and efficient product development organisation, and elevate and improve the way we make products
- Experience in agile methods: scrum and safe
- Are results-oriented and have a winning mentality combined with outstanding cooperation skills
- Practise a motivating and involving leadership style and wish to continually develop yourself and your team
- Team mentality as part of a management team
- A good commercial mindset
Please note that you must be able to present a clean criminal record and have lived in a NATO and/or an EU country for the past seven years as we work with security-classified projects.
