At Toms Group – Denmark’s largest producer of sweets and chocolate – strong processes and reliable documentation are essential to delivering high-quality products.

To support our Packaging Development activities within Group Procurement, we are looking for a structured and detail-oriented colleague who will play a key role in managing packaging documentation, drawings, and system data in the final stages of the development lifecycle.

About the job

As Packaging Technical Assistant, you will support the Packaging Development team by managing technical documentation, drawings, specifications and data.

Your role is to ensure structured, accurate, and efficient administration of packaging-related information. This enables Packaging Developers to focus on design, innovation, and technical development, while you ensure that documentation and data are correctly maintained and aligned across systems.

The role is administrative and technical in nature and does not include regulatory or compliance approval responsibility.

Your responsibilities

You will work closely with Packaging Developers and collaborate with QA, Procurement, and Production to ensure accurate and structured documentation handling.

    • Ensuring documentation is accurate, structured, and stored according to internal standards
    • Updating specifications and documentation following approved packaging changes
  • Drawings & Technical Files
    • Preparing technical drawings based on developer input (e.g., layout drawings, specification drawings, packaging overviews)
    • Managing and maintaining the packaging drawing archive
    • Ensuring correct version control and traceability of technical drawings
    • Coordinating drawing updates when packaging modifications are implemented
  • Systems & Data Management
    • Maintaining packaging data in ERP and document management systems
    • Performing system data entry and updates related to packaging materials and specifications
    • Ensuring consistency between technical documentation, ERP data and internal databases
    • Supporting continuous improvement of packaging data management practices
  • Change Management Support
    • Supporting administrative tasks related to packaging change processes
    • Ensuring required documentation is updated and correctly archived following approved changes
    • Preparing documentation packages for handover to QA and other relevant functions

After your onboarding, you will independently manage documentation, drawing administration and system updates within defined processes and guidelines.

About you

You are structured, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with technical information and drawings. You enjoy creating order and ensuring that documentation is accurate, consistent and well organized.

Your qualifications include:

  • Experience from an administrative, technical support, documentation, or coordinator role
  • Experience working with document management systems, ERP systems, or technical databases
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • A structured and detail-oriented approach to documentation and data accuracy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Experience from packaging, manufacturing, or technical environments is an advantage but not required
  • Professional proficiency in Danish and English, both written and spoken

Travel activity is limited (0–2 days per year).
