Role Overview
We are looking for a Finance Manager (m/f/d) Nordics to take responsibility for financial management and statutory compliance across selected Nordic legal entities.
In this role, you will ensure accurate financial reporting, oversee statutory and tax compliance, and act as a key finance partner to local management and Group HQ. You will lead local accounting activities while working closely with the Shared Service Center and Group Finance on consolidation, audits, transfer pricing, and ERP developments.
Key Responsibilities
Entity & Financial Responsibilities
- Ensure company-level financial reporting in compliance with local regulations and the Group Accounting Manual
- Safeguard the correctness of financial statements, including Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet
- Coordinate with external service providers on statutory accounting, income tax, indirect tax, and local reporting requirements
- Prepare and review statutory financials and financial analyses for external stakeholders and authorities (including transfer pricing and customs)
- Participate in finance-related projects and development initiatives, contributing specialist expertise
- Support the Managing Director in business administration and financial decision-making
- Manage accounting and reporting for operational entities and holding companies, including treasury-driven transactions and non-operational structures
Management & Governance Responsibilities
- Lead local accounting resources in the region (currently 1 FTE in Denmark)
- Own and manage statutory and tax audit processes for the legal entities
- Oversee monthly closing activities to ensure timely and accurate delivery
- Support local and Shared Service Center teams with accounting activities such as journal entries, reconciliations, transactions, and payments
- Work closely with Group HQ on consolidation, intercompany reconciliations, transfer pricing, and audit readiness across Denmark, Norway, and Sweden
- Contribute to the rollout and adoption of new ERP/IT systems in collaboration with HQ
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in accounting and tax, or alternatively 5 years of experience from auditing
- Strong knowledge of Danish, Norwegian, or Swedish GAAP; IFRS knowledge is preferred
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Danish, Norwegian, or Swedish is required
- Solid experience with Excel and general PC applications; experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 FO is an advantage
- Ability to operate effectively in a global matrix organization and adapt to a fast-changing environment
- Structured, reliable, and proactive working style with strong stakeholder collaboration skills
