At UNEEG Medical, we are on a clear mission: improve epilepsy care and ultimately enhance patients’ quality of life through objective, realworld EEG data. Our sub-scalp EEG solution enables remote monitoring of brain activity and is already making an impact across Europe and the US. We are entrepreneurial and ambitious - with the agility of a small company and the discipline of a certified MedTech organization.
The role:
We are looking for a proactive, service-minded Software Implementation Specialist to make sure our solutions work seamlessly in hospitals across Europe.
As we onboard a growing number of hospitals with our UNEEG EpiSight Solution, your work will be critical to ensure smooth deployments and exceptional customer experience. You will be the person who makes sure our technology works in real-world settings – bridging the gap between cutting-edge software and the people who rely on it every day. If you love solving technical challenges and working with people, this is your chance to make a real difference.
Your core responsibilities:
Customer Engagement & Deployment
- Lead the planning, installation, configuration, and testing of data transfer solutions in hospital environments
- Provide on-site and remote training and support to hospital IT staff during installations, upgrades, and troubleshooting
- Collaborate with our Sales and Clinical teams to gather IT requirements and deliver technical presentations that ensure smooth project execution
- Provide constructive feedback and challenge on-site implementations to ensure UNEEG standards are consistently applied across all locations, while maintaining a service-oriented and helpful approach
Technical Support & Problem Solving
- Monitor and maintain hospital servers and Azure cloud environments to ensure optimal performance
- Troubleshoot networking, communication protocols, and software issues efficiently
- Manage virtual machines and containerized environments (e.g., Kubernetes)
- Deploy security patches and updates to maintain system reliability and compliance
Prepare for scaling
- Proactively consider how the customer implementation process can be more efficient to accommodate future scaling of activities and new customers
Collaboration & Feedback
- Act as the technical liaison between hospital IT teams, customer stakeholders, and internal teams
- Log and track issues in Jira, ensuring timely resolution and continuous improvement
- Translate client feedback into actionable product enhancements
Documentation & Compliance
- Create and maintain technical documentation for deployments, support cases, and troubleshooting guides
- Ensure compliance with healthcare IT standards and data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR/HIPAA)
The skills and experience you bring:
- Experience in IT support or technical service - healthcare IT experience is a strong advantage
- Proficiency in Microsoft Azure, virtualization (VMware, Azure VMs), and container orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with SQL databases and scripting
- Strong troubleshooting skills and experience with tools like Jira, Prometheus, or Azure Monitor
- A proactive, service-minded attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of data protection and privacy regulations, as GDPR/HIPAA is an advantage
How you work:
- Collaborate closely across Sales, Clinical, and Development teams, fostering open communication and an inclusive environment
- Ensure data security and healthcare IT compliance while acting ethically and transparently
- Seek feedback and embrace change to enhance products and processes
- Take ownership of successful implementations and maintain accurate documentation
- Engage proactively with hospital IT teams and communicate clearly to deliver solutions that exceed expectations
Your qualifications and experience:
- IT Support Technician (Danish: Datatekniker), ideally with a specialization in infrastructure or professional bachelor’s degree in software development and infrastructure
- Academy Profession Degrees or Diploma Programs
- 3+ years of work experience is preferred, ideally from hospital environments
- Fluency in English written and spoken is a must
- German or other European languages are a plus, but not a requirement
The team:
You will be part of our dedicated Technology team consisting of 10 highly skilled colleagues with diverse backgrounds in engineering, software, and biomedical sciences. We work closely across disciplines and functions.
Work location & travel requirements
We appreciate employees working from our Allerød office to nurture our culture, strengthen collaboration, and share knowledge daily. Flexible work from home is possible when needed. The role includes limited travel days to both the US and Europe.
