Volunteer in Communications Team

We are looking for good people for a communications team that will communicate about a new store concept in Rødeovre, and this is where you come in. Together with other volunteers, we need you in our communications team, where the task is to create visibility about the store and the new concept.

We can promise you won't be bored, because there's always something fun, crazy, exciting or absolutely amazing happening every day at the Red Cross. Will you help us tell the rest of the population about it?

We would really like you to:

• have the desire and courage to work with communication about Red Cross Rødovre's new store concept
• wants to work with social media, press and the like
• passionate about helping vulnerable Danes and others who need support
• would like to volunteer a few hours a week
• values community and team spirit

You do not need to be educated in communications or journalism to be part of the communications team, but you should have a desire and interest in social media, press work and similar communications work. The Red Cross' national office will help you prepare for the task to the extent you need.

This is what you get out of it:

• You help the Red Cross in its work of helping people all over the world.
• You will become part of the department's communications team and gain experience with communication in a broad sense.
• You will have the opportunity to expand your communication and presentation skills.
• You expand your network and meet other volunteers and permanent Red Cross employees.
• You will gain insight into and lots of hands-on experience from the world's largest humanitarian aid organization.

The assignment is time-limited until approximately September, but after that there is ample opportunity to continue in the department's permanent communications team.
