Who is SIND Aarhus?

SIND Aarhus is a local branch of SIND – the Danish Association for Mental Health.

We work for a society with more mental health in general and for inclusiveness and better conditions for people living with mental challenges and for relatives.

What is the board of directors?

In the local council, we have the overall responsibility for safeguarding SIND's local interests in Aarhus Municipality.

We set the overall structural and financial framework for the local branch's activities and groups. We develop local communities for people living with mental health challenges, and we try to influence municipal decision-making processes and local development in general for the benefit of people with mental health challenges and their relatives.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who wants to take responsibility for the development and operation of the local association, and who wants to be part of our cozy community.

What should you do?

We start with a meeting of expectations, where we together determine your role, your areas of responsibility and the framework for how you want to be involved.

We meet as a board about once a month, where we coordinate who does what. You decide for yourself which tasks and how many you want to sign up for.
