Expansion Associate

Who are we?

FLA Leadership is a nonprofit leadership accelerator working to increase cognitive diversity in top management. We develop aspiring talents early in their careers by inspiring, educating, and connecting them with the right network. Through our academies, community, and global engagement, we empower young leaders to step confidently into their first leadership role.

Since launching our first Academy in 2020, we have supported more than 10,000 students and professionals in accelerating their leadership journeys. Our mission is simple: to democratize leadership opportunities and increase diversity in top management.

The Team

You’ll join our Expansion Team, a group of passionate young professionals volunteering at FLA to deliver high-quality programmes. You’ll also collaborate with other FLA teams across Denmark and Europe.

The Role

As our Expansion Associate, you’ll help plan and expand FLA’s programmes, events, or partnerships, one of FLA’s main areas of impact. You’ll be involved in:

• Planning and coordinating key activities from idea to execution
• Managing communication with internal and external stakeholders
• Supporting partnerships, events, or programme delivery
• Ensuring strong follow-up, structure, and alignment across teams
• Contributing ideas to improve how FLA grows and operates

You’ll also work closely with other teams, including Marketing, Community, and the Event Teams, to ensure alignment and visibility of the programme/partnership/event area within the wider FLA network.

Who are you?

You’re a proactive, organised, and people-oriented person with a “can-do” attitude. You enjoy working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and are excited to contribute to a mission-led organisation.

We value experience in project management, stakeholder management, and partnerships/sales, but above all, we value enthusiasm, ownership, and a genuine interest in developing FLA Leadership and expanding our operations.

Time Commitment

Approximately 5-10 hours per week, depending on the workload and academy schedule. This may vary during busy periods.
