Commercial Manager

Jobdetaljer
Jobbeskrivelse
At Dripdrop, you don't chase deals. You build partnerships that last.
You've done customer-facing work before, maybe in hospitality, account management, partnerships, or somewhere else entirely, and you know the real skill isn't the pitch. It's the relationship. You've earned people's trust, kept it over time, and turned it into something that lasts. That's exactly what this role is built on.
What you want now is to own something properly. Partners and projects that are yours to look after from the first conversation onwards, with the time and trust to do it well.
And here's what makes that easy to care about: we don't sell to customers, we build with partners. We grow through relationships and trust, earned in every conversation, not through pressure. It's what we call Experience-Led Growth: partners stay with us and tell others because they genuinely like working with us. Every umbrella we place turns a rainy day into the thing a guest remembers. It's more than just umbrellas.
This isn't a people-management role. It means owning your projects and the results they drive, not managing a team.
You'd join at a real turning point. We're building to last, expanding into the U.S., and sharpening our commercial engine across 25+ countries, and the next chapter is the one you'd actually help write. Early enough to shape it. Real enough to matter.
The role
This is a role built on ownership. You look after partners and projects from start to finish, building relationships on trust, clarity, and shared ambition. Selling here isn't about pressure or product features. It's emotional selling: understanding what a partner actually cares about, making them feel understood, and building the kind of relationship that turns a first conversation into a partnership that lasts. Alongside your own partners, you help lift the whole team by shaping how we sell and the standard we all work to.
And none of it happens in isolation. Every partner you look after well becomes the reason the next one says yes, that's the flywheel we're all part of. The experience you create doesn't just close one deal, it shapes how the next partner finds us.
You'll be based at our Aarhus HQ, and travel is part of the job. You meet partners where they are and you're on the road when the work calls for it.
You will be doing
Looking after your own partners, start to finish. A set of accounts that are properly yours, from the first conversation through signing and well beyond, helping them grow over time.
Running your own projects. Campaigns, experiments, new ways of growing the business, yours to plan and see through, not just help with.
Setting the standard others follow. You coach the people around you, shape how the team sells, and stay calm when things get tense. People learn from how you work.
Starting the conversations that matter. You reach out and open doors yourself rather than waiting for leads to land.
Running demos that land. You don't just show what the product does, you show a partner why it matters for their guests and their business, so it feels relevant to them.
Closing well, then growing the partnership. You follow up, agree the terms, and close, then set partners up to expand and recommend you naturally, because the trust feels real.
Knowing where the real growth is. You spot which partners can become something big and put your time there, rather than chasing whichever deal is loudest.
Giving partners a confident start. You set clear, honest expectations through the process and hand over calmly to your colleagues in Customer Success, so it never feels like they've been passed to strangers.
Seeing opportunities before anyone asks, building the relationship before a partner even knows they need something.
You will thrive here if
You've done customer-facing work before, in any industry, and you're genuinely good with people. Trust comes naturally to the way you work.
You work without being managed. You set your own bar and hold to it, nobody needs to check your work or set your priorities.
You can be handed something ambiguous and run with it, no clear playbook, no one looking over your shoulder, and bring back a result.
You build for the long term and still move fast. Lasting relationships and momentum aren't opposites to you.
You're calm under pressure. When things get tense, people look to how you're handling it.
You're an owner, not a passenger. You'd rather have the whole thing on your shoulders than a small safe piece of it.
You're happy on the road and face to face with people. Travel doesn't put you off.
You're fluent in English, in writing and conversation.
You stay curious and hungry no matter how much you've done. You try things, you're not afraid to get them wrong, and you treat failing as part of growing.
