Student Software Engineers

We’re looking for two dedicated and motivated Student Software Engineers to help us develop and improve both our internal ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system and our online calculation tool (SimShade). The internal ERP system is the backbone of our company, tracking data all the way from sensors on the production line to the final sale of our products. The online calculation tool enables industry professionals to take data driven decisions in designing facades & solar shading for renovations and new builds.

You will join our R&D team, which drives innovation, improves processes and brings new technologies into production. We are a multicultural, English-speaking team that works closely with our Glostrup production facilities, enabling fast testing and adaptation. As a small, dedicated team, we offer guidance but are often stretched across company priorities, so you should be able to work independently, anticipate needs, and “read between the lines” when immediate support isn’t available.

Your Profile for both positions:

• You are pursuing a master’s degree in engineering, computer science or software and IT.
• You have clear communication skills in English. It is not necessary to be fluent in Danish, but it is preferred.
• You have an eye for frontend design and want to create intuitive user interfaces.
• You have Python programming experience.
• You have experience with the GIT version control system.
• You have experience with Docker instances and/or virtual machines in a development environment.

Responsibilities/Requirements for DB position:

• Update and enhance the frontend of our database interface so users across the organization can quickly explore and understand data from different areas.
• Design, build, and maintain new database tables and schemas to support new data sources and features.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and Microsoft SQL Server (schema design, query optimization, stored procedures).

Responsibilities/ Requirements for SimShade (Online Calculation Tool):

• Update, enhance, and maintain the SimShade frontend (Java web components: dynamic web projects, Servlets, JSP) to improve usability, scalability, and overall user experience.
• Assess the current frontend implementation and be part of planning an update to a modern, scalable frontend stack
• We expect you to be experienced with front-end development in JSP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
