Project Manager for SKOV Research and Development

We are looking for a Project Manager to run company-wide projects, including new products, pre-investigations, technology projects, cost optimization, maintenance, etc.
You will run projects from idea to release and are responsible for defining and coordinating project activities with the project team. This role reports to the Chief Technology Officer of SKOV and will join a team of project managers, working together to improve our project execution capabilities. Most of our projects have an international representation, with partners and/or customers abroad.

Your working day is exciting and varied, and you are in contact with many colleagues inside and outside the project team. We are using a Stage-Gate development methodology and will become responsible for driving the entire project development process after a concept has been approved. You are, moreover, expected to work with process improvement initiatives within the project management field. You must also expect up to 20 days of traveling each year.

To be a success, we imagine that you are

• A quality and results-oriented organizer, communicator, and facilitator with proven results as a project manager.
• Manage all aspects of task/project execution from start to finish within internal project groups, project groups across the company, and project groups with international external partners. Ensuring transparent and committed agreements for all internal and external deliveries, including stakeholder management—responsibility, involvement, and information.
• Ensure compliance with the requirement specification, incl. handling of change requests.
• Drives the preparation of, follow-up on, and ensures compliance with committed estimates.
• Experience in hardware, mechanics, and software development projects and methodologies such as Stage-Gate, Scrum, etc. Besides being a highly skilled project manager, you have experience working with business models, process improvements, budgeting, planning, and team development.
• Excellent communication skills, and you find it easy to collaborate with our English-speaking colleagues.
