Core Responsibilities
- Process Optimization: Conduct methodical experiments (DoE) to analyze and determine technology capabilities and optimizing the AM processes and parameters to improve reliability, quality and efficiency.
- Root Cause Analysis: Engage in systematic root causes investigations to identify and analyse the manufacturing process issues or failures and help in continuous improvement efforts.
- Collaboration & Communication: Collaborating with multi-functional teams, including engineers, data scientists, materials scientists and manufacturing technicians, and provide scientifically sound data to our partners and internal stakeholders to develop additive manufacturing solutions.
- Materials: Support the development of parameters for testing new materials used in our Additive Manufacturing technologies.
- Build Development: Support the development of build jobs for our AM technologies to investigate AM technologies, materials, and processes and improve the quality of AM produced parts.
- Applications: Engage with our application and production teams for a successful execution of pilots and demonstrators.
- Documentation & Implementation: Assist in documenting processes, procedures, and outcomes for knowledge sharing and future reference to ensure a successful handover for industrial implementation.
- Capabilities Building: Contribute to build capabilities to develop and enhance AM skills, knowledge and expertise to expand our AM program and meeting organizational goals.
Do you have what it takes?
- Knowledge in the field of Additive Manufacturing, ideally in both metal and polymer.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze, understand and illustrate data via statistical tools.
- Problem-solving skills to solve technical issues, identify root causes of problems and propose effective solutions.
- Ability to continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
- A great teammate that strives to succeed in an ever-changing and challenging environment.
- Organized and structured, independent, dedicated and proactive attitude.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in English both verbally and written.
