About the role | Product Owner in Intelligent Process Automation
As Product Owner, you will be part of Tryg’s Intelligent Process Automation team, which creates value through technologies like Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Business Process Management (BPM), and AI. The team includes process analysts, automation specialists, and three agile development squads responsible for development, maintenance, and operations.
You will work across all business units and support functions in Tryg, identifying high-value automation opportunities and translating them into actionable solutions and product strategies.
Your key responsibilities:
- Work closely with stakeholders to define automation needs and translate them into user stories and acceptance criteria
- Prioritize and manage the product backlog for one or more agile development squads
- Act as the primary link between business, development, and the delivery teams to ensure alignment between business goals and stakeholder needs
- Define and track KPIs to measure automation impact and guide product iterations
- Drive continuous improvement and ensure alignment with strategic goals
- Create and maintain product roadmaps that align with the strategic goals for the Intelligent Process Automation team
About you | Strategic, empathetic, and tech-savvy
We are open to different backgrounds, but we expect that you will bring in-depth knowledge of Intelligent Process Automation technologies and Business Process Management (BPM). You understand business needs and can bring development, operations, security, and business closer together.
To succeed in this role, you bring:
- 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner or similar role in the Agile/Scrum/SAFe setup
- Proven experience with IPA technologies (e.g. Blue Prism, UiPath, Power Automate, Power Apps, AI/ML/OCR)
- Strong ability to bridge technical teams and non-technical stakeholders
- Analytical mindset and data-driven approach to product management
- Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills
- Strong English skills are required. Fluency in Danish, Swedish, or Norwegian is a plus
- A bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
It’s a plus if you also have:
- Product Owner certification (e.g. CSPO, PSPO)
- Experience with Lean Six Sigma or other process optimization methods
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and automation services (e.g. Azure, AWS, GCP)
